At Cake (formerly CakeResume), we have always been dedicated to providing a transparent job-seeking platform.

As a job seeker, you may be keen on gauging an employer's responsiveness before committing to applying for a job. As such, knowing that your application is actively considered by employers adds a meaningful dimension to your pursuit of the right opportunity. That's where our latest update comes in.

With the "High Job Application Open Rate" badge, you can see which employers are actively opening job applications. Whereas with the "Actively Reviewing Resumes" notice, you can see which jobs are employers actively recruiting for.

Where will the Badge be shown?

The badge will be displayed in the following locations:

  • Job Search
  • Company Search
  • Individual Job Page
  • Company Page's Job Tab

How do Employers Earn the "High Job Application Open Rate" Badge

Employers who maintain a job application open rate of over 75% will receive this badge.

How do Jobs Earn the "Actively Reviewing Resumes" Notice

Jobs with a resume open rate of over 75% (out of the total job applications received for the role) will receive this notice.

Important Note

Please keep in mind that the "High Job Application Open Rate" badge and "Actively Reviewing Resumes" notice serves as a reference point. While it signifies employers are actively reviewing job applications, it does not guarantee a response from an employer. Different companies have varying hiring processes and policies, which can affect response times.
