How to Embed Slides, PDFs, or Videos on Cake (formerly CakeResume)?

Embed Slides

On the resume editor page, select “Slide” from the template list on the right side to embed it.

1. Click on the icon at the bottom of the slide. 
2. Click on the "Replace" button
3. Paste the slide URL. 

Slides can be embedded in the following ways:

1. Google Slide link

(1) Copy the desired slide link from Google Drive.

(2) Paste it into the window of "Edit Link".

Make sure the permission is set to share with “anyone with the link can view". 

2. Linkedin SlideShare

(1) Click on "Share".

(2) Under Embed, copy the link inside src=" “. (do not include src='''')

Embed PDFs

The procedure is the same as embedding slides.

Embed Videos

Video links CakeResume Supports:

Youtube, Vimeo. Video files from Google Drive are not supported.

From the template list on the right, select "Video" snippets and drag and drop them to the editor.

1. Click on the video, the menu shall appear. 
2. Click on the "Replace" button
3. Paste the video URL or embed the codes.
